Tenants who want to rent a room in this property will pay less rent, until further notice, then the actual rent stated in the rental agreement. Each rental agreement will contain an addendum with the current rental price to be paid. If this legislation, which will come into force on December 1, 2020, is considered illegitimate by the Federal Constitutional Court, the difference between the rent provided for in the contract and the adjusted rent subject to the “rent amount” must be reimbursed immediately. Therefore, both the landlord and the official law offices urge you to set aside the difference between the contract rent and the adjusted rent so that they can cover any refunds.
